Okay, so I've gone ahead and scheduled a consultation with a local plastic surgeon, David L. Rasmussen, for next Monday to see about my "procedure" and costs, etc. I'm now 90% sure that this idea of mine, will in fact, become reality pretty soon. I'm excited and nervous at the same time, but more excited than nervous. What if I have to sneeze like the day after surgery? That's my biggest fear! AAAAHHHHHHHH! What if I look like MJ after all the swelling has gone down? An even bigger AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!! lol Anyhoos, just thought I'd update everyone on what's going on over here and let you guys know that it's pretty much a go. When and if a surgery date is made, I'll be sure to announce it.
And also, I've got an update on my foster kittens. They're both doing very well! They've been on antibiotics for several days and I definitely see an improvement. For the first time yesterday, they went without having a single bottle. Yay! They're completely weaned now, and loving life. They're a couple of rascals and I love em!
FYI feel free to try and find any dirt on this guy (Dr. Rasmussen); I've researched him and he's supposed to be one of the best. But I guess you can never be too sure...

you picked "the way i am" to play during this post?
lol, I had that playing before I posted this. I'll have to change it right away!!! hee hee
YOU WILL NEVER LOOK LIKE MJ!!! You are way too beautiful to look like him no matter what could happen to your nose! NEVER ever like mj!! Good luck Tara!
Hmmm... Good luck. I thought I would search out a talk or some inspiring quote to make you give this some thought. But, it sounds as if you already have given this alot of serious thought.
Yet, while I was searching I found this talk and ended up reading it in its entirety. It has a message concerning appearances, but after reading it, I'm including the reference more so b/c it is an inspiring story. The reference is: Janet Thomas, “Inside’s What Counts,” Tambuli, Aug 1982, 25
Yeah, I agree it is what's inside that counts. I just want a better outside. lol
Tara, Good luck!! I admire your bravery. Keep us posted on the developments!
You are brave to do this - I am glad you are doing all the neccesary research! Really think about this and pray too!
