My First Christmas!

This little number was a Christmas gift given to us when our son was about a month old.  It's cute for sure, but wowzas, it's HUGE!  Honestly, I don't think there is a single child under one year of age that could wear this.  Here is our boy, now seven months old, trying it on for size.  Nope, he's still swimming in it, lol.  When we first saw this, we couldn't stop laughing.  It was a well-meaning gift and so sweet of her to get this for Crew, but we'll never forget the laughs it gave us.  Maybe he can wear this for his 3rd Christmas; I'll just use a permanent marker and cross out the "1st" in front of the word Christmas. Or wait, there is such a thing as Christmas in July, right?!  :)

Crew's First Time at the Pool

While my sister's family was visiting, we decided to spend an afternoon at the Aransas Pass Aquatic Center.  This place is pretty awesome; we all had lots of fun!  And...this was a first for our little guy.  He really seemed to enjoy watching the ripples on the water and splashing his little hands and feet in it.  It was pretty stinkin' cute!  :)  I just love having the whole family together; it's always so sad when Holly, Joey, and kids have to head back home.  I sure wish we lived closer to eachother.  I think even Crew shed a tear or two when the family left.  Either that or he was hungry, I forget.  Enjoy the photos from our day at the pool!  I think we should make this a summer tradition.  And I somehow managed to miss getting a photo of Cali and Joey.  Sorry guys!  :(

Crew's Baby Blessing

It only took us seven months, but we finally had Crew blessed (June 22nd to be exact).  Holly, Joey, and the kiddos (Zac too) were able to come down the week of the blessing, so it was extra special to have the whole family in attendance.  I am so thankful to Joey (my brother-in-law) for agreeing to bless little Crew, too.  It was beautiful!  We took photos afterwards, but my Uncle Ronnie managed to escape before we busted out with the camera.  Ha!  Unfortunately, he is missing from the first picture.  Just pretend he is there.  :)  Enjoy some photos of the wonderful day with some other family photos thrown in the mix, as well.
