27!

Let me start out by saying I couldn't help myself when it came to adding this version of "Celebration" onto the playlist. It's a horrible karaoke version that had me rolling in laughter when I first heard it. I hope you love it too (it's also obvious that they are not from America either). Too funny!
Most of you know that I was unfortunate enough to have yet another birthday come and go. It's all downhill from 25...But on a lighter note, I had a great birthday (and celebration the previous week while visiting with the fam). I just wanted to share a few more pictures, most of the gifts I received. Thanks for all of the "happy birthdays" I got from you all! :)

My co-worker and friend, Brenda, surprised me at work with this. Isn't it cute!?!

And my sister gave me a much needed caddy for all of my cake decorating supplies. She knew I didn't have one, and I was so happy to get it. Until now, all of my supplies have been crammed into small drawers; the color gels had leaked and stained the cabinet liners I had in place. This is so much better!!! Thanks Holly!!!

Yessssss

Here is my new toy- I have already put it to good use and now have extra drawer space in my kitchen. You can't see all of my stuff I have in the caddy, but it's all in there (under the tray). :)

And while out shopping with Mom, I had a hard time trying to pick out an outfit; we came across these Spanx (which I'd wanted for a while now) and had to have them. They are awesome, as long as you know how to wear them. ;)

And this is exactly what I look like when I put them on. Yeah, right. I always love how ads use these skinny little models to model something that is clearly not designed for their body type. Hmmm...I'll never understand it. Do larger women really think this is what will happen when they struggle to put on their pair of Spanx? Not likely...
But yes, these do wonders in making you look inches less and more lean. Just don't plan on breathing while wearing them.

And last night, my friend Charlotte and I went out for a night on the town. We had a lot of fun! Another friend of mine was going to come, but then flaked at the last minute. :( But we had fun without her. I'm actually kind of glad it was just the two of us- so much fun. Thanks Charlotte for making my b-day a blast. We'll have to do this more often.
