It's not difficult to tell the sex of a cat
...but a kitten is sometimes not so easy. Alright, I made a bit of a mistake when I said Doogan was a boy kitten. It just so happens, he is a she. That's right, this whole time I've been calling her a him. I feel like an idiot! lol I even took her to the vet and the vet didn't bother to notice he was a she either. I was so surprised (obviously) when I got the e-mail after I dropped her off to get neutered that she didn't have anything to neuter. She did get fixed, but not in the way I had originally thought. Of course, I did come up with a new name for her. I couldn't find a name that sounded like Doogan, so I just named her Daphne. It still starts with a "d", I wanted something to be similar about it. I just feel so stupid. But I will try to explain myself- I only checked the kitten once to see about the sex. She was much smaller then (just 6 weeks), and I never bothered to check since. If I had, I know I would have seen the difference myself, but I didn't. Well, I've learned my lesson- I'm certainly not as perfect as I thought I was! lol

HA HA! YOU'RE SO STUPID! Lol just kidding. How hard is it to check for a set of testicles? Sheesh! I'm sorry, I can't help myself, since you're sitting here laughing at yourself anyways. I think it's silly, but no, you're not stupid. And I think Daphne is a wonderful name. :)
That's funny!! I didn't notice either, but of course, I never looked. She is sweet enough to be a she ~ so I have no problem believing it.
Haha, that's so funny! Sometimes it really is hard to figure out the sex when they're really young!!
Poor cat will be scarred for life now! ;) She's probably just relieved that she can now be free to act like a female.

Yeah, I remember the time I asked for 2 female hamsters at Wal-mart and we somehow ended up with babies. I guess one of them wasn't!!
