Me No Likey My Pork Chop

This afternoon I thought I'd try a new recipe. It didn't go so well. I got this Italian Porkchops recipe from a website that had really good reviews. Maybe it's my oven, maybe I overcooked it, but one thing is for sure- it is not a recipe I'll be making again. Notice the burnt cracker crumbs on that chop. Yuck! Thankfully my mashed potatoes tasted delicious, as always.

Good try!! You never know about a new recipe. That's why they say to always make something first before making it for company!

At least you tried~ otherwise you will never know! I do know that I have had MANY meals turn out like your poor pork chop and expect it to happen many more times. Keep practicing and trying new things and more will work out than not. Yeah for mashed potatoes!! Their yummier than pork chops anyways!

It is always hard trying out a new recipe. You never know how it will turn out. At least you had some yummy mashed potatoes to eat. :)

That's ok Tara! When something flops for me I make it again anyway, just to see if it turns out better the 2nd or even 3rd time! I think it looks good...I'm with Joey, I would have eaten it! :)
