Lucky me, I got to spend this past weekend with the ones I love the most-my family. My mom and three brothers drove up from Corpus last week for an Easter visit, and unfortunately the week has come and gone. I miss them already! But it was great being together minus the fact that my Dad couldn't make it. I wish he would have been there...
We went to Six Flags on Thursday (which was the first day of spring break where it didn't rain); the park soon became too full of people that they even began to turn people away. So yeah, maybe Six flags=more fun, but too many people=less fun. I rode like two rides while I was there (I didn't stay as long as the others did), which were both kiddie rides. Whoo! Aunt Cindy and I threw in the towel at about five o'clockish. My head was pounding, ugh, and I had no intention of standing in line for two hours to only be on that ride for like one minute. No thanks! Lucky for me, I did get a season pass, so my day was not wasted. Plus, I was spending that time with my family, so that made it all worth it. I enjoyed the company, if anything. And I plan on going many, many more times before the season ends. Six Flags will see me again.
This past weekend was great, though. I hadn't attended church in a while, and I was glad to have gone when my sister and bro in-law spoke in sacrament meeting. They both gave such great talks, and I was truly touched by the spirit that they brought into that chapel. I am sure, no one else could have touched my heart more. Thank you both for an experience I hadn't felt in quite some time.
And thank you Melissa for the much needed toilet paper. We all appreciated that! Hallelujah, indeed!!! I forgot to take many pictures, the only ones I managed to take were of the girls in their Easter dresses. However, Ella would not smile for me, much less look in my general direction when I tried to take a photo of her. The little rascal...

This is the best picture I could get of them. At least I got half of Ella's face...

sorry ella was being a terd for pictures:) sometimes she gets moody. don't know where she would get that from.....
and that meant a lot to me what you said about our talks, more than you know. i'm glad that you felt the spirit. i did. i'm so glad you came. i thought having everyone from the family there watching would make me more nervous, but it actually did the opposite. it helped me. i felt like i had all of you there supporting me. when i looked over at you guys, it made me happy to see all of you there smiling like, "you can do it holly! even though you suck.". :) thanks!
Thanks Tara! I agree with Holly how having you guys there was very supportive. We loved having you and everyone here this past weekend. Thanks also for helping out so much while we were at six flags. You and Aubrey seemed to have a blast on the bus ride :)
P.S. I haven't heard this song in a loooong time! Biddy biddy bop!
It was fun seeing you this weekend. It sounds like you had a fun Easter weekend. It always seem like time goes by so quickly when your having fun with family.
I'm glad I was around to rescue and save your families bottoms! :)
The picture of you & Aubrey is gorgeous! I love it!
