My foster babies-all grown up!

Since I regularly check Petfinder, I noticed this morning that my first two foster kitties had been returned by their owner due to "life's changes". I was so sad and disappointed, mainly because of this woman who had returned them. Would you surrender your own children due to "life's changes"? C'mon! People need to realize that adopting a cat, dog, or any animal for that matter is a lifetime commitment, not something to take lightly. I've been guilty of this in the past, and I'm so glad that I've had the opportunity to foster these kittens as this experience has taught me a few things. So naturally, I contacted the rescue organization and asked about them and whether or not they had adequate space to take them in. Since they were my bottle-babies, I wanted the chance the take them back in until someone else could give them a forever home. Of course, they were more than helpful and grateful that I volunteered to take them back in for the time being. While I thought my fostering was over with for the year, I'll be getting my little babies back (temporarily anyhow). Who knows how long it may take for someone to want to adopt the two of them, hopefully not long. Here are pictures of them when they were smaller and pictures of them now. They're so big! Awwww

Gosh that makes me so mad! Why in the heck do people adopt or buy a pet only to return them! That is how we obtained our girls, I was heartbroken to find out they weren't wanted.

I'm sorry that the owner gave them back. How sad.

I'm glad my mom didn't decide to give me back when she faced difficult life changes...

didn't their owners understand that when you adopt that makes them apart of your family...permanently!!
