My First Butterfly!

Finally, one of my butterflies has emerged! Yay! As I got out of bed this morning, I looked into the little habitat, as I have been every morning for the past couple of days, to find one of the little buggers wiggling its way out of its cocoon. I immediately snapped a couple of shots with my camera (through the plastic covering on top, hence the blurry picture), then decided to unzip the top to get a better shot, maybe even some video. But as luck would have it, the little butterfly was just finishing up and already walking around by the time I got my stuff together. So my picture of her (I decided this one's gender is female, for no other reason than the fact that I say it is) is not the clearest, sorry. But I did get a couple of better shots of the butterfly afterwards.

I think I'll name her Bella. hee hee Get it? Her wings are still a little folded over and not quite dry. Within minutes, her wings had dried completely and flattened, but I didn't get pictures of that. I'll take more pictures after the others make their debut.

"I see you!"
By the way, this is my 100th post! Yay me!!!

Finally, They are looking better? How do you know what post you are on? I don't see a place that shows it on mine.

Scroll down on your sidebar, Mom, and you should see your blog archive, unless you disabled that on your layout. It shows the number of posts you have for the year, month, etc.
